Wenatchee Parks, Rec and Cultural Services Pulls Pickets from Lincoln Park

The City of Wenatchee's Parks and Recreation department removed more than 250 pickets from the Lincoln Park play area as part of their work to make improvements at the park. There are still 60 pickets left to go which will be pulled in early October.

Parks, Recreation and Cultural Services Director Dave Erickson says beginning Tuesday, they will be making them available for the people who originally purchased them.

He says, unfortunately, several were too rotten to be salvaged.
