Cold Springs Canyon Fire

-Crews made significant progress according to the Saturday morning update and the fire is 40% contained.

The main priorities continue to be the Haley Creek and Omak Lake portions of the fire though there was also a significant effort yesterday and overnight to not only strengthen containment lines, but add another one via dozers and crews.

Utility companies are in the area trying to restore or replace several poles that were either damaged or lost due to the fire.

Teams are assessing the number and types of structures that were lost.

The fire remains at 187,689 acres.

Pearl Hill Fire

-The Pearl Hill Fire became very active last night across the Columbia River from Brewster.

Daily drainage winds aligned with air flow causing strong winds to drive the fire down the River.

SR 173 and Crane Orchard Road have been closed.

The fire is visible from Brewster and structures may be involved.

As of the last report, the fire is 219,956 acres and 64% contained.

Governor Jay Inslee visited Bridgeport Saturday to assess the damage.

Apple Acres Fire

-The Apple Acres Fire is 93% contained and better continues to lower the size as it now sits at 5.753 acres.

According to the information on Inciweb, they expect containment of the fire by Sunday afternoon.
