Quincy Schools Announce Updated Re-Entry Plan

The Quincy School District says that 4th and 5th graders will return to the classroom January 19th as part of their updated phased re-entry plan.

They also hope to bring back middle and high school students February 9th.

They will join the kindergartners through third graders that are currently permitted to opt-in to a hybrid learning model where part of the day is spent in a classroom with precautions in place.

Students and their families can opt to remain fully remote if desired.

Superintendent John Boyd stated in a letter that, "Our elementary staff, students, and families have proven that with diligence, we can prevent COVID-19 from spreading within our schools."
